Choosing the Perfect Tree for Your Yard
Your landscape is important and it provides you with a nice lawn and beautiful scenery. Adding a tree to your yard may be exactly what you need to give your yard the wow factor. Trees come in all different shapes and sizes and depending on what you want your tree for, there are some that are better for you than others.
Deciduous or Evergreen
One of the first decisions you will need to make is whether or not you want a deciduous or evergreen tree. A deciduous tree will lose its leaves in the winter and fall. These trees plant perfectly on the west, south, and east sides of your home.
An evergreen tree retains its leaves throughout the whole year and these trees are great for shade and privacy. These trees go great on the north side of the home.
You will need to consider the size of the tree that you want. Trees range from small all the way up to very tall and wide. If you are placing the tree in your yard, consider how much room it has to grow and how far the roots will extend out. This will help you choose the right size.
Another thing you will want to consider is whether or not the tree will bloom or produce fruits. You should also consider the shape, maintenance, and color of the leaves. All of these factors will impact what you think of your tree and how it will fit in with your landscape.
Finding a Tree
Once you have decided on the type of tree that you want, you can now go shopping for one. Check out places like the nursery or even your local landscaping company and see what they have to offer.
